BROOKLYN ENTERPRISE · FARM WATCH

Night rounds over your farm. Round after round, deep into the night.

An automated drone that lives on your farm, flies regular rounds in the dark, and alerts your people the moment something is confirmed: drone solutions at your farm's service, tailor-made for each farm. We are now selecting pilot farms in South Africa.

Stock theft happens at 2 a.m.

Guards can't be everywhere. Cameras only watch the yard. And by the time you find tracks, the animals, the diesel or the cables are long gone. In the first three months of 2026 alone, 5,117 stock-theft cases were reported to the SAPS (Q4 2025/26 crime statistics).

A drone that keeps an eye on your farm, night after night

No pilot on the farm. No equipment to buy. Automated flights, always under a licensed remote pilot, while you sleep.

Simulated night round: this is what one round looks like.

It sees in the dark

A thermal camera picks up the heat of a person or animal in total darkness along its route, and that route can run right along your boundary line.

It flies the rounds you choose

It flies along your fences, kraals, sheds and gates, recharging itself in its weather-resistant dock between rounds, ready to fly again about half an hour after landing (DJI's specified turnaround is 27 minutes). How often and how late it flies depends on your plan.

It shines a light on trouble

Spotlight on, video recorded, and an alert with live view to the people you name, including your own registered security provider. The drone shows what is there; your people decide.

Detection, then a human check

Detection flags people and vehicles during the rounds; unusual heat and movement stand out on thermal. A remote pilot checks the image before an alert goes out, so your people are only woken for real events.

<100 seyes on scene up to 1 km out (DJI benchmark)

These are the equipment's rated figures (DJI data), not a service level. Round frequency, hours and add-ons depend on the plan you choose.

More than night rounds

The same drone, with extra jobs — each one an optional add-on to your plan:

Livestock counts

Regular counts from the air, even at night on thermal. Know about it when the numbers don't add up.

Water & fences

Water points, pumps, fence lines and gates checked on schedule — before a small problem becomes a big one.

Lands & fire

Irrigation leaks and dry spots (thermal), storm damage, and hot-spot checks on thermal during night rounds.

How it works

  1. We design it around your farm; the operating partner installs the dock. Routes along your fences and kraals, who gets which alert, which add-ons, agreed with you first. Then a weather-resistant station with its own power and connectivity plan, built for farm conditions.
  2. A licensed remote pilot supervises every flight. The drone flies its rounds on automated routes; a licensed remote pilot of the South African operating partner supervises every flight, inside South Africa's drone rules. Paid night rounds start once that partner's PSIRA registration and SACAA approvals are in place.
  3. Your people get the results. Alerts to the people you name, a short report every morning of the night's rounds, a weekly summary, and time-stamped evidence packets when something happens.

No equipment to buy: a monthly service, tailored to your farm. You farm; your people get the alerts. Any guarding or armed response stays with your own registered security provider.

PILOT PROGRAMME · SOUTH AFRICA

We're starting with a handful of farms

Brooklyn Enterprise and its South African operating partner are starting with a handful of farms, and the first farms help us get it right. Pilot farms get the first installations, pilot pricing set together, and a direct line to the team.

Tell us in the check what's costing your farm the most — we'll come back with a plan for your farm, no obligation.
